Certificates of Good Standing
Certificates of Good Standing
A Certificate of Good standing is a document, from the state in which you formed your corporation or LLC, which confirms that your entity is in good standing. Typically, this proves that you have paid your necessary annual state fees and your tax payments are up to date. Certificates of Good Standing are also necessary when registering a foreign entity. They are also sometimes needed in connection with opening a business bank account. We can obtain a Certificate of Good Standing, via courier, from the Secretary of State.
